With the support of our volunteer network, we:

• Support New Mainers settling into smaller MidCoast communities

• Direct New Mainers to resources for available MidCoast housing options

• Reach out to local communities with cultural information and opportunities for multicultural exchange

• Offer support to local New Mainer households with housing, health care, childcare and activities, language learning, education, tutoring, transportation, recreational opportunities, employment, shopping, community connection, cultural enrichment and understanding

• Gather and make available information about local and regional resources

• Establish household mentor teams

• Hold multicultural events and workshops

• Get involved in public issues that directly address immigration and cultural understanding

• Celebrate successes and acknowledge challenges
